Bomb Jack is one of those old-school arcade gems that just nails simple, frantic fun. You play as this little dude in a red jumpsuit bouncing around platforms, trying to grab bombs before they explode—while these weird floating enemies try to knock you out. The controls are dead simple: space to jump, arrows to move, but don’t let that fool you. The timing gets brutal fast.

What I love is how the bombs light up in sequence—you gotta plan your route or you’ll waste time backtracking. And those enemies? Some hover predictably, others zip around like they’ve had too much caffeine. Dying because you mistimed a jump by half a second is equal parts frustrating and addictive.

It’s pure 80s arcade chaos—no tutorials, no handholding, just you versus a screen full of nonsense. Still holds up surprisingly well.
