Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands on DS is basically the portable version of that console game where you're parkouring through crumbling ruins while time powers bail you out of bad jumps. The combat’s simple but satisfying—swipe at skeletons and sand monsters, then rewind when you mess up a combo. The platforming’s the real star though, with wall runs, pole swings, and those moments where you panic and spam the rewind button before falling into a pit.
It’s got that classic Prince of Persia vibe—ancient temples, magical disasters, and a prince who talks to himself way too much. The DS graphics are obviously scaled down, but the animations are smooth, and some of the environmental puzzles actually make clever use of the touch screen. Just don’t expect the full console experience—this one’s more bite-sized, perfect for playing in short bursts.
If you’re into acrobatic platformers with a time-rewind gimmick, this one’s a solid pick for the DS library.
