Prime Time NFL with Deion Sanders is one of those early '90s sports games that somehow makes blocky players feel fast as hell. You pick Deion—obviously—and suddenly your guy moves like he’s got rockets in his cleats. The defense barely has time to react before you’re already halfway down the field.
It’s arcade-style football, so don’t expect deep playbooks. You’ve got simple passes, stiff arms, and the occasional dive that sends your pixelated body flying in a way that would get you fined in real life. The AI isn’t exactly genius, but when you break free for a touchdown return, it still feels like you pulled off something ridiculous.
Honestly, the best part is just how over-the-top Deion’s speed is. They nailed that part. If you’ve got a Genesis and even a passing interest in old-school sports games, this one’s worth a few quarters of your time.
