Remember that cheesy-but-awesome Power Rangers movie from the 90s? This Sega Genesis game is basically that, but with way more button mashing. You start off picking your Ranger (I always went with the Red one, obviously) and immediately jump into side-scrolling brawls against waves of Putty Patrol goons.

The sprites are surprisingly detailed for a Genesis title—you can actually tell which Zord is which when they transform. Combat’s simple but satisfying, especially when you pull off a special move and your Ranger does that ridiculous spin-kick from the show. There’s even some clunky vehicle sections that feel like they were added just so the box art could say "varied gameplay."

It’s not gonna win awards for depth, but if you grew up watching Rita Repulsa get wrecked every Saturday morning, this’ll hit the nostalgia spot. Just don’t expect the difficulty to go easy on you—some of those boss fights are brutal unless you’ve got a friend for co-op.
