Power Rangers: Super Legends on DS is basically a love letter to fans of the show—you pick your favorite Ranger (I always go with the Red one, obviously), then jump into side-scrolling beat-em-up action with some light platforming. The combat’s simple but satisfying—you’ve got your basic punches, a ranged attack, and a screen-clearing special move that charges up as you fight.
What surprised me was how much they packed into this little cart: you’ve got story missions, unlockable costumes, and even some goofy minigames. The pixel art holds up nicely, especially the Ranger morphing sequences. It’s not gonna win awards for depth, but smashing through Putty Patrollers with a Megazord finisher never gets old. Perfect for short bursts of nostalgia between classes or commutes.
