Pokemon Yellow Upgrade Game

Pokémon Yellow Upgrade is basically the classic Game Boy Color adventure we all love, but with some nice little tweaks. You still start with Pikachu following you around (and yeah, it still refuses to go in its Poké Ball), but the sprites got a fresh coat of paint, and some of the battles feel smoother. I was surprised how much better Viridian Forest looks with the updated colors—those bug catchers actually stand out now.
It’s the same journey from Pallet Town to the Elite Four, just… cleaner. No major story changes, but if you’ve played the original a dozen times like me, the visual upgrades make it feel a bit new again. Still weirdly satisfying to watch Brock’s Onix crumple to a well-timed Bubblebeam.
Definitely the version I’d pick if I’m replaying Yellow on original hardware.
