Pokemon : Platinum Edition Game

Pokémon Platinum on the Game Boy Color? Wait, no—that doesn’t sound right. Platinum was a DS game, so this might be a ROM hack or a fan-made version. If it’s anything like the original, though, you’re in for a solid Pokémon adventure with Sinnoh’s snowy routes, the Distortion World weirdness, and Giratina lurking in the shadows.
Assuming this is a demake, it’s probably got the classic GBC pixel art but with Platinum’s story and maybe even some of the expanded Pokédex. The first thing you’ll notice is the chiptune music—hopefully a decent downgrade from the DS soundtrack—and the usual early-game scramble to pick between Chimchar, Piplup, or Turtwig. (Spoiler: Turtwig’s the slow but reliable pick.)
If it’s a well-done hack, you’ll still get that eerie vibe when Cyrus starts ranting about his new world, just with way fewer pixels. If it’s a lazy reskin… well, at least it’s Pokémon on a Game Boy. You could do worse.
