Pokemon Link Edition (yellow) Game

Pokémon Link Edition (Yellow) is one of those weird little Game Boy Color puzzle games that somehow makes catching Pokémon into a match-three challenge. You’re sliding panels around to link identical Pokémon—Pikachu, Squirtle, the usual gang—and clearing them before the timer runs out. It’s simple at first, but the later stages get brutal when the board starts filling up with unbreakable blocks.
Honestly, the music is pure nostalgia, and the pixel art is charming in that classic GBC way. Not gonna lie, I got stuck on the Viridian Forest level for way too long because I kept missing obvious chains. If you’re into puzzle games with a Pokémon skin, this one’s a fun time-waster. Just don’t expect anything deep—it’s basically Tetris Attack with a Pikachu hat.
