About Pocahontas (europe)
I remember picking up Pocahontas for the Sega Genesis back in 1996, a game Disney Interactive put out. It was a time when movie tie-ins were common on the platform, and this one aimed to capture the film's story. You control Pocahontas through side scrolling levels, switching to her raccoon companion Meeko for specific sections. The main goal is to free captured forest animals, which in turn grant you new abilities to progress. Gameplay involves platforming across vines and ledges, using a tomahawk for close combat, and navigating environmental puzzles.
