Pink Goes To Hollywood (beta) Game

Pink Goes To Hollywood is one of those weirdly charming Genesis platformers where you play as the Pink Panther—yeah, the cartoon one—trying to make it big in Hollywood. Except, of course, Inspector Clouseau keeps showing up to ruin everything, because of course he does.
The controls take a second to get used to—Pink’s got this floaty jump that feels a little off at first, but once you adjust, you’re bouncing off enemies and sliding down palm trees like a pro. The levels are packed with dumb little gags, like paparazzi snapping your photo or random studio props falling on your head. It’s not the tightest platformer out there, but there’s something oddly satisfying about whacking bad guys with a giant mallet while dressed in a ridiculous costume.
Oh, and the soundtrack? Surprisingly good. That bassline in the first level still gets stuck in my head sometimes. If you’re into weird licensed games with a bit of jank, this one’s a fun time.
