Paperboy on the Genesis is basically the same chaotic paper-tossing madness from the arcade, just with slightly chunkier sprites. You ride your bike down suburban streets, trying to nail porches with newspapers while dodging everything from rogue skateboarders to angry dogs. Mess up and you'll either smash into a mailbox or get chased off-screen—either way, it's hilarious.
The controls feel a little stiff at first (this is a late '80s arcade port, after all), but once you get the hang of the throwing arc, you start pulling off ridiculous bank shots around flower pots. Weirdly satisfying when you land a perfect throw through someone's window. Just don't expect mercy from those breakdancing jerks in the alley.
It's one of those games where failing is almost as fun as winning, especially when you accidentally yeet a paper into a granny's face.
