About Panorama Cotton (japan)
Panorama Cotton came out in 1994 for the Sega Genesis, or Mega Drive in Japan, developed by Success. It arrived late in the console's life, a time when developers were pushing the hardware in new directions, and this game was part of that final creative wave.
You control the witch Cotton, flying forward through vibrant, twisting stages. Your main goal is straightforward: shoot everything in your path and defeat the stage boss. Your primary weapon is rapid magic shots, but you also collect crystals to power up a screen clearing super attack. The defining mechanic is the forced scrolling pseudo 3D perspective, which makes the world curve and rotate around you as you dodge enemy patterns.
