Paddle Fighter is this weirdly addictive little Genesis game where you basically play ping-pong with swords. Yeah, it sounds ridiculous, but after a few matches, you'll be totally hooked on the clang of paddles smacking into each other.

The controls are dead simple—just move your paddle left and right—but the timing gets brutal when the ball (or should I say, the spiked death orb?) starts ricocheting at crazy angles. First time I played, I got wrecked by the AI in like 30 seconds, but once you get the rhythm down, pulling off those last-second blocks feels amazing.

Graphics are pure 16-bit charm—bright colors, big chunky sprites—and the sound effects have that satisfying *thwack* from old arcade games. There’s a two-player mode that turns into absolute chaos when you’re both scrambling to return shots. Just don’t blame me when you start trash-talking your friends after losing.
