PGA European Tour on the Genesis is one of those early golf games that somehow nails the feel of the sport without overcomplicating things. You pick your golfer—some are better with irons, others crush drives—and then it’s just you, the wind, and those brutally unforgiving greens. The swing meter’s simple but tense, and missing a putt by an inch feels as frustrating as real life.
What’s cool is how different each course plays. The Scottish one’s all rolling hills and sneaky bunkers, while the Spanish course has these narrow fairways that punish bad shots hard. Graphics are obviously old-school, but the ball physics still hold up. If you’ve ever wanted to rage-quit over a three-putt from five feet away, this’ll do it.
Still holds up as one of the better golf sims from the 16-bit era.
