About Outrun 2019 (japan)
OutRun 2019 came out for the Sega Genesis in 1993, developed and published by Sega. It was part of a wave of futuristic racers on the system, taking the original OutRun's sunny coastal drives and projecting them decades forward into a world of high speed highways.
You control a lone driver in a sleek, open cockpit car, racing against a strict time limit across branching stages. Your main goal is simply to survive; you must reach each checkpoint before your timer hits zero.
