About Outrun 2019
OutRun 2019 came out for the Sega Genesis in 1993, developed and published by Sega. It was part of that wave of futuristic racing games on the system, taking the original OutRun's sunny road trip and projecting it decades forward. You got a sense of the hardware's ambition with these kinds of titles, even if they didn't always match the arcade experience.
