One Piece: Gigant Battle is basically a chaotic 2D brawler where you pick your favorite Straw Hat or villain and beat the crap out of everyone else. The controls are simple—jump, dash, mash buttons for combos—but the real fun comes from the over-the-top special moves. Luffy’s Gum-Gum Gatling actually feels like it’s tearing through the screen, and Zoro’s three-sword slashes are stupidly satisfying.
The roster’s stacked with fan favorites (even some deep cuts like Perona), and the chibi-style sprites somehow make Mihawk look both adorable and terrifying. Early fights feel like playground brawls, but later stages force you to actually think about positioning—spamming attacks gets you wrecked fast against smarter AI.
It’s not perfect—some characters feel way stronger than others—but smashing a fully charged Franky Radical Beam into a crowd never gets old. If you ever wanted to pit Crocodile against Buggy in a ridiculous pirate free-for-all, this is your game.
