This is one of those early golf sims that somehow nails the vibe of actually being on the course—even with those blocky Genesis graphics. You start off picking your clubs (the 3-wood feels weirdly overpowered) and then it's just you, the wind, and those pixelated greens that look way easier than they actually are.
The physics are surprisingly decent for its time—hit it too hard and your ball absolutely sails into the rough. Putting is brutal though; slopes look exaggerated but somehow match real break if you squint. Also, no idea why it's "No Hatou" in the title—still haven't figured that one out.
If you're into retro sports games, this one's got that "one more round" hook, especially when you finally nail a long putt. Just don't throw your controller when the wind changes last second.
