Need for Speed: Nitro on DS is pure arcade racing chaos—in a good way. The second you start, you're thrown into these neon-lit city tracks that feel like someone cranked up the saturation to 11. It's not realistic, but who cares when you're drifting around corners spraying purple smoke from your tailpipe?
What I dig is how over-the-top everything is. Cops chase you, your car glows brighter the longer you stay in first place, and the nitro boosts feel like someone strapped a rocket to your ride. The touchscreen handling takes a race or two to click, but once it does, you'll be weaving through traffic like a maniac.
Also, the car customization is stupid fun. You can slap giant shark teeth on your hood or turn your entire car into a rolling graffiti mural. Just don't expect Gran Turismo-level realism—this is all about dumb, fast fun. Perfect for quick races between bus stops.
