Naruto Shippuden - Ninja Destiny 2 is one of those DS fighters that just feels right if you're into the series. You pick your favorite ninja—I always ended up defaulting to Kakashi—and jump into these fast, combo-heavy fights where timing your jutsu actually matters. Mess up a substitution and you're eating a Rasengan to the face.

The roster's solid for a DS game—Sasuke, Naruto, even Deidara with his weird clay bombs. Some characters definitely feel stronger than others (looking at you, Itachi), but it's fun figuring out who clicks with your playstyle. The touch screen lets you pull off special moves with quick swipes, which sounds gimmicky but actually works once you get used to it.

It's not super deep compared to console fighters, but for portable ninja brawls between classes? Still holds up.
