Naruto: Ninja Council 3 on the DS is basically a side-scrolling beat 'em up where you run through levels smacking up bad guys as Naruto and the gang. The combat’s simple but satisfying—you’ve got your basic combos, kunai throws, and a few signature jutsu for each character (Rasengan feels great when you pull it off).
What’s cool is the touchscreen stuff—some jutsu require quick swipes or taps, which keeps fights from getting too repetitive. The levels are pretty straightforward, but they throw in some light platforming and hidden scrolls if you’re into exploring. Story’s nothing deep, just classic Naruto missions with some familiar faces popping up.
It’s not the most polished DS game out there, but if you just want to mess around as your favorite ninja for a couple hours, it does the job. The chibi art style’s kinda charming too.
