Namco Museum DS is basically a pocket-sized arcade—you get a handful of old-school Namco hits like Pac-Man, Galaga, and Dig Dug crammed into your DS. It’s weirdly satisfying to play these on a tiny screen while waiting for the bus, though the controls take a second to adjust if you’re used to actual arcade sticks.
Galaga still holds up surprisingly well, but some of the others feel a bit barebones without the original cabinet atmosphere. The DS’s touch screen gets used for minor stuff like menu navigation, but honestly, you’ll just be mashing the D-pad most of the time. If you’ve got nostalgia for these classics, it’s a solid way to kill time between classes or commutes.
