Ever wanted to run your own kindergarten but without the real-life chaos? Nakayoshi Youchien on GBA lets you do just that—with pixelated kids who somehow manage to be both ridiculously cute and occasionally little troublemakers. You’re in charge of everything: nap times, snack breaks, even teaching them how to properly hold crayons (good luck with that).

The art style nails that nostalgic GBA charm—bright colors, chibi characters tripping over their own feet, and those tiny desks that look like they’d collapse if a kid sneezed too hard. At first, I just let them run wild during playtime, but turns out they actually learn stuff if you nudge them toward the alphabet blocks instead of the toy box. Who knew?

It’s one of those games where you lose track of time because suddenly it’s 3 PM in-game and you’re scrambling to serve juice before meltdown mode activates. If you’ve ever played Tamagotchi but wished it had more tiny humans and less beeping, this is your jam. Just don’t blame me when you catch yourself saying “Okay, ONE more day…” at 2 AM.
