About Nba All-star Challenge (usa, Europe)
NBA All-Star Challenge came out for the Sega Genesis in 1992, developed by Beam Software. It was one of those sports titles that tried to capture the energy of the early 90s basketball scene, putting you directly against a friend or the computer in a simplified, arcade-style contest.
You pick a single NBA star, like Larry Bird or Michael Jordan, and face off in a half-court one-on-one game. The main goal is straightforward: score more baskets than your opponent before the clock runs out. You dribble, shoot from various spots on the court, and try to block your opponent's shots. The controls are simple, focusing on quick jumpshots and driving to the hoop, but the computer can put up a real fight, making you work for every point.
