About Mr Nutz ? Hoppin Mad (unreleased)
Mr Nutz: Hoppin' Mad was a Sega Genesis game that never actually came out. Ocean was set to publish it, and it was part of that wave of early 90s platformers that filled the library. You would have controlled a squirrel named Mr. Nutz, jumping through themed worlds to stop an evil owl.
You move screen by screen, using a basic jump to bounce on enemies and a tail spin attack for closer threats. The main goal is to travel through forest and ice levels, collecting acorns and finding keys to unlock new areas. The pace is quick, and the level design can be tricky, with precise jumps required over bottomless pits. Playing it feels like a straightforward, challenging platformer from that era.
