If you’ve ever wanted to unleash pure, chaotic Mr. Bean energy on your DS, this is the game for you. You’ll start off with some classic mini-games—like trying to sneak into a movie theater or assembling a turkey disaster—and it’s way more fun than it has any right to be. The controls are simple, but half the challenge is figuring out how Bean’s ridiculous logic works (why wouldn’em> you use a fire extinguisher to cool down your soup?).
It’s got that same awkward, slapstick humor from the show, and some of the puzzles actually make you think… in a very Bean-like way. Not gonna lie, I got stuck for way too long on the level where you have to parallel park his tiny car. The art style nails the weirdly expressive faces, too—you’ll know that mischievous grin anywhere.
Definitely one of those games where failing is half the fun. Just don’t blame me when you start giggling in public.
