Monopoly on the Sega Genesis is exactly what you’d expect—just like the board game, but with that classic 16-bit charm. You start by picking your token (I always go for the top hat, no idea why), rolling those chunky pixel dice, and immediately getting into arguments over who gets to buy Boardwalk first.

The AI can be brutal if you crank up the difficulty, and trading feels a little clunky with the controller, but there’s something satisfying about watching your little hotel sprites multiply on the screen. Just don’t get too attached—someone’s gonna land on your best property with a lucky roll and wipe out your cash.

It’s Monopoly. You already know if you’re into it. The Genesis version won’t change your mind, but it’s a solid way to play if you don’t feel like setting up the physical board.
