Might And Magic Iii - Isles Of Terra (proto) Game

Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra on the Genesis is one of those old-school RPGs that feels massive for its time. You start off with a party of four—fighters, mages, clerics, the usual—and immediately get thrown into this weird, sprawling world full of towns, dungeons, and random encounters. The proto version’s a little rough around the edges, but it’s still got that classic grid-based exploration and turn-based combat.
First thing you’ll notice? The music. It’s got that early Genesis synth sound, kinda cheesy but weirdly catchy. And the dungeons? Huge. Like, "get lost for an hour because you forgot to map it out" huge. If you’re into retro RPGs with a ton of secrets and a grind that actually feels rewarding, this one’s worth digging into.
Just don’t expect modern conveniences—this is pure ’90s dungeon crawling at its most unforgiving.
