Metal Sonic Hyperdrive (beta) Game

Ever wondered what Sonic would feel like if he traded his sneakers for rocket boosters? Metal Sonic Hyperdrive is basically that—a weird, fast-paced beta romhack where Metal Sonic blasts through levels like he’s late for an appointment. The physics are janky in that classic Genesis way, and half the time you’re just trying not to faceplant into spikes at mach speed.
It’s got that rough-around-the-edges beta energy—some levels feel unfinished, and the music cuts out weirdly, but there’s something weirdly fun about how over-the-top it is. You’ll boost off ramps, ricochet between walls, and occasionally glitch through the floor. Not exactly polished, but if you’re into obscure Sonic mods, this one’s a trip. Just don’t expect it to play nice.
