Ah, the Menacer 6-Game Cartridge—basically Sega's answer to Nintendo's Super Scope, but way more 90s. It came bundled with the Menacer light gun (which looked like some kind of sci-fi blaster), and honestly, the games are exactly what you'd expect: simple, frantic light gun stuff.
You've got your standard shooting gallery, a weird clay pigeon thing where discs fly at you, and a couple of target-based games that feel like they were designed to show off the peripheral rather than be actual deep experiences. The best one is probably the zombie shooter—it’s janky, but there’s something satisfying about blasting pixelated undead. Just don’t expect anything close to Time Crisis.
It’s pure nostalgia bait now, but back in the day, waving that chunky orange gun at the screen felt like the future. The whole package is a time capsule of that era when every console needed its own gimmick.
