Mega SWIV is one of those old-school shooters that just feels right—fast, chaotic, and packed with explosions. You start off in either a tank or a helicopter (I always go chopper—way more maneuverable), and within seconds, the screen’s full of enemy fire and power-ups to grab. The controls are tight, and the weapon upgrades actually matter—like, if you don’t grab that spread shot early, good luck surviving the second level.
It’s got that classic top-down arcade vibe, but with enough little twists—like switching between ground and air combat—to keep you from just mindlessly blasting. The difficulty’s no joke, though. You’ll die. A lot. But it’s the kind of game where you immediately hit restart because you know you could’ve dodged that missile if you’d just moved left instead of right.
If you’re into retro shooters, this one’s a blast—literally. Just don’t blame me when you lose track of time trying to beat your high score.
