Mega SWIV (or Firepower 2000 if you're in the US) is one of those classic Genesis shooters that doesn’t mess around. You pick either a helicopter or a jeep—both handle totally differently, and I spent way too long debating which one to take first. The chopper’s faster but fragile, while the jeep plows through stuff like a tank (because it basically is one).
Top-down chaos everywhere—enemy turrets popping up, missiles screaming across the screen, and that satisfying *crunch* when you mow down a line of tanks. The music’s got that early ‘90s synth energy, all frantic beats to match the non-stop action. Just don’t blink, or you’ll miss the next wave of enemies dropping in.
It’s the kind of game where you die a lot at first, then suddenly everything clicks and you’re weaving through bullets like a pro. The jeep’s homing missiles are stupidly fun once you get the hang of them.
