Mega Games 2 is one of those classic Sega Genesis compilations that somehow feels both random and perfect at the same time. You boot it up and suddenly you're bouncing between a weirdly addictive puzzler, some arcade-style shooting, and a platformer that makes you realize how much we took pixel-perfect jumps for granted back then.
It's not the most polished collection—some games definitely show their age—but that's part of the charm. I kept going back to this one maze game where you play as a little dude pushing blocks, even though the controls are kinda janky by modern standards. The music alone will drill into your brain for days.
If you grew up with a Genesis, half the fun is remembering which games you rented as a kid and never finished. If you didn't? Well, now you get to experience that weird, slightly unfair magic of 90s game design firsthand.
