MegaPanel is one of those weird little puzzle games that slipped under the radar back in the Genesis days—probably because it never left Japan. You're basically sliding colored panels around to match rows, but the twist is that new pieces drop from the top like a mix between Tetris and those tile-matching arcade cabinets. The controls feel a bit stiff at first, but once you get the rhythm down, it's weirdly satisfying when you pull off a big combo.

What makes it stand out is the bizarre, almost hypnotic background art—lots of neon grids and floating geometric shapes that make it feel like you're playing inside some retro-futuristic computer. The music's got that classic early '90s synth vibe too. Not gonna lie, it's way more addictive than it has any right to be.

If you're into obscure puzzle games, this one's a neat time capsule from the era when Sega was throwing everything at the wall to see what stuck.
