Okay, so McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure is way better than it has any right to be. You play as Ronald McDonald—yes, that Ronald—hopping through these weirdly charming levels full of hamburger trees and giant milkshake lakes. The Hamburglar stole some treasure map, and now you’re bouncing on fries and throwing… hamburgers? Sure, why not.
The controls are surprisingly tight for a fast-food mascot game, and the levels actually have some clever secrets tucked away. There’s this one part where you ride a hot air balloon made of a soda cup, and I won’t lie—it’s kind of magical. The music’s got that classic Genesis chiptune energy too, all bouncy and weirdly catchy.
Look, if you’re into retro platformers with a side of surreal corporate branding, this one’s a legit good time. Just don’t play it hungry.
