A key mechanic is collecting bells scattered throughout the stages; ringing a large bell often transforms the stage layout or reveals new platforms and secrets. The pacing is deliberate, requiring careful observation of enemy patterns and timing your jumps precisely. The difficulty comes from environmental hazards and some tricky enemy placements that can knock you off narrow ledges.
