So, Lost Vikings—this old-school Sega Genesis gem throws you into the shoes of three kidnapped Vikings (Olaf, Baleog, and Erik) who have to puzzle their way out of some alien spaceship. Each one’s got a weirdly specific skill—Olaf blocks stuff with his shield, Baleog swings a sword (badly), and Erik just runs fast. You’ll swap between them constantly, figuring out how their dumb little abilities fit together to get past lasers, pits, and way too many robots.
It starts simple, but by level three, you’re already juggling switches, timing jumps, and realizing Baleog’s sword is mostly for hitting buttons, not enemies. The aliens even mock you in cutscenes, which is weirdly charming. If you like games where dying a lot is part of the fun, this one’s got that in spades.
