About Lord Of The Rings
I first played The Lord of the Rings on the Sega Genesis back in 1994, a game published by Interplay Entertainment. It was one of many attempts to bring Tolkien's world to a 16-bit console, arriving during a time when action-adventure titles were experimenting with deeper narratives. You guide Frodo Baggins from the Shire all the way to the fires of Mount Doom, facing the persistent threat of Sauron's forces.
