Lobo (unreleased) Game

So, Lobo—this unreleased Genesis/Mega Drive game that somehow slipped through the cracks back in the day. No official blurb, but after playing it, here’s the deal: it’s got that rough-around-the-edges charm of a late-era Sega action game. You’re dropped into this weird, slightly janky world where the sprites are chunky, the jumps are just a little too floaty, and the music’s got that unmistakable Genesis FM synth wail.
At first, it feels like a mashup of Strider and some forgotten arcade brawler—lots of running, slashing, and enemies that respawn the second you turn your back. The controls take a minute to click, but once they do, there’s something weirdly satisfying about the way your character moves. Not polished, not perfect, but kinda fun in a "this-should’ve-been-a-rental-in-1994" way.
If you’re into digging up obscure retro stuff, it’s a neat curiosity. Just don’t expect a lost masterpiece.
