Lethal Enforcers on Genesis is one of those games that makes you feel like you're in a cheesy '90s cop movie—except you're holding a plastic gun instead of eating popcorn. The second you start, criminals pop out from behind cars and windows, and you've got to nail them before they shoot first. Mess up, and you'll see your cop crumple in that classic pixelated death animation.
What’s wild is how much better it feels with the light gun (if you're lucky enough to have one). Pointing and blasting away at the screen beats button mashing any day. The soundtrack’s all sirens and gunfire, and the digitized voice yelling "STOP RIGHT THERE!" never gets old. Just don’t expect deep storytelling—this is pure arcade chaos where the only goal is surviving long enough to reach the next wave of bad guys.
It’s not the most complex shooter, but there’s something satisfying about how fast it throws you into the action. You’ll either love it or realize you’ve got terrible aim.
