Lemmings 2 on the Genesis takes everything you loved about the original and cranks it up—more chaos, more ways to fail spectacularly, and way more hats. Instead of just digging and climbing, your little green-haired idiots can now be ninjas, archers, even balloonists (yes, really).
The first time I played, I lost half my squad because I forgot the balloonist could only float down, not up. Each tribe has its own vibe—some levels feel like puzzles, others like frantic rescue missions where you’re desperately assigning roles before someone walks into lava. And the music? Still weirdly catchy after all these years.
It’s the kind of game where you’ll restart a level five times, muttering “just one more try” under your breath.
