LEGO Indiana Jones 2 on the DS is exactly what you'd expect—Indy cracking his whip and dodging boulders, but with that goofy LEGO charm. You start off smashing everything in sight (because, well, LEGO logic) and piecing together random contraptions from the wreckage. The puzzles are simple but satisfying, and the combat’s just button-mashing enough to feel fun without being brainless.
It covers the Crystal Skull movie, plus remixes of the original trilogy, so you get a mix of jungle ruins and weird alien stuff. The levels are bite-sized, perfect for handheld play, though some of the touch controls feel a little tacked on. Still, watching Indy’s LEGO hat fly off when he gets hit never gets old.
If you’ve played other LEGO games, you know the drill—break stuff, collect studs, unlock characters. But the co-op mode’s a nice touch, even if the screen’s tiny for two people. It’s a solid pick if you want something lighthearted between heavier games.
