LEGO Batman 2 on DS is basically Gotham City in pocket-sized brick form. You start off with Batman and Robin doing their usual vigilante thing—punching thugs, solving little puzzles, and accidentally smashing everything into LEGO studs—but then Superman shows up and things get way more chaotic. The roster’s packed with DC heroes, and swapping between them actually matters (Flash runs fast, Wonder Woman can lasso stuff, etc.).
It’s got that classic LEGO game charm where even failing is kinda funny—watch Batman’s little plastic cape flutter as he plummets off a building. The Joker and Lex Luthor teaming up is a nice twist, and the open-world Gotham feels surprisingly big for a DS game. Just don’t expect voice acting like the console versions; everyone’s still mumbling in LEGO gibberish here.
If you’ve played other LEGO games, you know the drill: smash stuff, collect studs, unlock characters. But the superhero twist and co-op mode make it one of the better handheld LEGO adventures.
