Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is one of those DS games that feels way bigger than it has any right to be. You play as Roxas—yeah, that kid from KH2—during his time in Organization XIII, doing missions with Axel and Xion across all those classic Disney worlds. The combat’s simple but satisfying, mixing magic and keyblade combos while you hop between Agrabah and Halloween Town.
What really got me was the story, though. Starts off slow with the whole "eat ice cream on the clock tower" routine, but then it just... hits you. The mission structure can feel repetitive if you’re grinding, but stick with it—the payoff with Xion’s arc is brutal in the best way. Also, the panel system for leveling up? Weird at first, but kinda genius once you figure out how to slot everything together.
Definitely a must-play if you’re deep into KH lore, even if the graphics show their age.
