Kawasaki Superbike Challenge is one of those early '90s racing games that feels rough around the edges now but had its charm back in the day. You’ve got a handful of real Kawasaki bikes to pick from, and the handling is… well, let’s just say it takes some getting used to. The tracks are decently varied, with tight corners that’ll send you skidding if you don’t brake early enough.
What’s funny is how the AI bikes rubberband like crazy—blow past them on a straightaway, and suddenly they’re glued to your tail again. The graphics were solid for the time, though, with some nice parallax scrolling in the backgrounds. Just don’t expect Gran Turismo-level realism here.
If you’re into retro racing games, it’s a neat little time capsule of early Sega Genesis efforts.
