Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World on Genesis is basically you playing as an InGen mercenary dropped onto an island that’s basically "what if dinosaurs won?" You’ve got guns, grenades, and even a truck at one point—but none of it feels like enough when a T-rex decides you’re lunch. The top-down view makes it feel like a chaotic dino safari, where raptors pop out of bushes and the terrain itself tries to kill you.
It’s janky—no lie. The controls take some getting used to, and lining up shots feels like wrestling with the D-pad. But there’s something weirdly satisfying about barely surviving a level, especially when you finally figure out how to use the weird-ass tranquilizer mechanics. If you played the SNES Jurassic Park, this one’s rougher but has its own charm. Just don’t expect precision—expect chaos with teeth.
