Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition is one of those sequels that actually improves on the original—no small feat, considering how rough the first Genesis game was. This time, you can still pick between Dr. Grant or the sneaky Velociraptor, but the levels are way more open. Instead of just running through linear jungles, you get these mission-based stages where you’re blowing up supply trucks, sabotaging labs, or just causing chaos while dinos try to eat you.
Playing as the raptor is still the highlight—you’re faster, deadlier, and weirdly satisfying to control. Grant’s got guns now, which helps, but let’s be real: nobody picks him unless they’re forced to. The graphics got a nice bump too, with better animations and way more dinosaurs on screen at once. Just don’t expect it to be easy—some of those later missions get brutal.
If you liked the first game at all, this one’s a no-brainer. It’s the same Jurassic Park chaos, just with way more teeth.
