Judge Dredd (beta) Game

Judge Dredd on the Genesis is exactly what you'd expect—a side-scrolling beat 'em up where you play as the stone-faced lawman himself. It's got that gritty comic book vibe, and yeah, it's based on the Stallone movie (helmet stays on, thankfully).
You start off busting perps in Mega-City One with your standard punches and kicks, but the real fun kicks in when you pull out the Lawgiver. Switching ammo types on the fly—standard rounds, ricochet shots, even explosives—feels surprisingly good for a licensed game. The levels are packed with thugs to knock around, though some of the platforming bits can be a little janky.
It's not the deepest brawler out there, but if you're into the comics or just want to dish out some justice with satisfyingly chunky sound effects, it's a solid time. Just don't expect Stallone's voice yelling "I am the law" every five seconds.
