Joe & Mac on Sega Genesis is one of those weird, goofy platformers that somehow sticks with you. You play as two cavemen—Joe or Mac—who basically fight dinosaurs and other cavemen with boomerangs, clubs, and whatever else they can throw. The levels are bright and cartoony, with waterfalls, volcanoes, and yeah, the occasional cave babe cheering you on.
It’s not super deep, but the controls are solid, and the bosses are these ridiculous oversized dinosaurs that take way too many hits to go down. The two-player co-op is where it really shines—nothing like teaming up to chuck rocks at a T-Rex while your friend accidentally knocks you into a pit. Classic early '90s chaos.
If you’re into retro platformers with a silly vibe, this one’s a fun time.
