Jelly Boy (europe) (proto) Game

Jelly Boy is one of those weird, forgotten Genesis prototypes that never got a proper release—which is a shame because it's actually kind of a blast. You play as this stretchy, bouncy jelly dude who can morph into different shapes to solve puzzles and take out enemies. The physics feel surprisingly good for a '90s platformer—sliding around and squishing through tight spaces has this oddly satisfying squelch to it.
First few minutes, you're just figuring out how to stretch and bounce, but then you realize you can turn into a wrecking ball or a trampoline to reach higher platforms. The art style's got that bright, slightly surreal vibe a lot of European platformers had back then. Definitely worth a look if you're into obscure retro stuff with a weird charm.
